So JoJo, what's your point with this post? The message was correct, although it was uttered by a devious psychopath. I'm certain we can find any number of statements by other infamous villians through history; Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, etc.which when linked to some liberal mindset would look ironic, but would be a weak attempt to link the two. Let's face it, Clinton (both), Gore, Ted Kennedy or Kerry (to name a few) are villians to one extent or another, but no one could even put them in the same class as Hitler so don't try to do it with conservatives.
The previous commentator misses the point entirely - or maybe he doesn't, which is scarier! The point is that there are many in our country today who are leaning further and further to the right, towards extremism, and when they hear about 'the far right' they don't get that what is being spoken about is the direction of Nazism, of Hitler! To claim that Hitler's message was right is to suggest that instead of having a nation that protects diverse viewpoints we should try to enforce Christianity and its values. The good news is that, whatever may have been the case in Germany, the fundamental values enshrined in our nation's founding documents and especially the Bill of Rights are not Christian, although they do protect Christians. But they protect Christians by protecting free speech and religious freedom, and not by trying to enfore a monolithic religious, economic, political or moral viewpoint.
