Mario,
I'm sorry that it has taken me so long to respond, believe me it's only because I am jammed to the eyeballs with work. I have not been avoiding this amazing string that started on Richard's Peking Duck. I believe I am going to be able to come up for air for a bit, we will see.
Your Questions:
1) Bert Luper is one of the best friends I have in this world. Bert and I have a contract to write a book about his life as an LAPD Detective inside the Robbery/Homicide Special Murders squad, one of the most elite manhunter police units in America. The book and film--all on hold for the time being--is going to flashback into some aspects of the Simpson case, particularly the Bill Wasz element, but it's primary sructure and focus is the Ennis Cosby murder case, for which Bert was case officer-in-charge.
2) Yes, Bill Pavelic approached me about writing an "O. J. Did it" expose. Yes, I turned him down.
I will try to answer all questions, however, it must be understood by everyone, there are certain things I cannot say for either ethical or legal reasons. Politically I have crossed the Rubicon as a journalist, I announced that I would from then on write "opinion" pieces from my position as an old-fashioned liberal member of the Democratic Party. In my crime beat work I am still a journalist who must protect confidentiality of sources when necessary, but also I must be aware of the libel, slander, and right to privacy protections built into our system, not to mention the responsibility of reporting facts accurately in a fair and balanced manner.
Anyway, how the hell are you? It's been awhile since we've seen each other. I was living on Beachwood Drive in the foot of the Hollywood Hills the last time we visited in person, I believe.
Sincerely,
Joseph
Thanks Joe for the answers. I and my Wife are doing GREAT. I know you and you Wife are doing GREAT. Just being around me Twice, I am very Intense and speak my mind. I understand the Libel part and Ethical situations you abide by. Good for you. Any questions that I ask and you cannot answer for Whatever reasons, I understand Completely. Yes, we did meet and discuss many things at your Apt. on Beechwood St. Twice. Once in July of 1997 and once in April of 1998. You Know I have many, many questions. Here's another one. If you can answer and I understand if you can't: Did Bill Hodgeman back away from you Big Time after you presented some of your evidence about Bill Wasz to him? And in Your opinion if answer is yes WHY? You remember when we talked the second time at your Apt. and that was in April of 1998, I told you several things that involve Bill Hodgeman and Myself...It never leaked out. Good for you Joseph Bosco Thanks Joe, I will talk to you later. Mario

Dear Mario,
No, Bill Hodgman did not back away at all as he received reports from me weekly at first, and monthly later. Everything Bill Wasz told me and everything that checked out about what Bill Wasz told me excited Bill Hodgman. Bill Hodgman wanted it to work, he had believed in the lead initially in the summer of 1994 when Marcia shot it down and hadn't changed his mind.
I am responsible for destroying the closeness of the relationship. Secrecy was one of the principal elements that Garcetti demanded when he reluctantly allowed Hodgman to work this "back channel" investigation with me--he also got the LAPD to give me Bert Luper. It was the Bill Boyarsky column within which Bill quoted comments from me about the Wasz case that I had mistakenly thought I'd said "off the record" that angered Bill Hodgman because it angered his boss Garcetti.
From that moment on, somewhat childishly--although he had every right to feel that I had betrayed the D.A.'s trust--Hodgman would only communicate with me through Larry Longo, my close personal friend and the third and last defense attorney I brought aboard the Wasz case officially. (The first two meant well, but didn't have the clout and the financial security to stay the distance; I had not wanted to add more friction between Larry and Garcetti than was already so publicly there, but in the end Larry's courage and sense of justice led him to become Wasz's attorney-of-record and to do it quite publicly.)
The mistake was mine and I have regretted it greatly for a long time; I do not blame Bill Boyarsky, I had gone on and off the record several times that morning in the Van Nuys courthouse cafeteria, discussing three different cases, between Larry, Bill Boyarsky and myself.
My mistake with Bill Boyarsky was the reason Sandi Gibbons, the D.A.'s press officer, gave Boyarsky that cold, distancing quote about my working arrangement with the D.A.'s office. While it did not end the reinvestigation of the Wasz part of the Simpson case, it was an unfortunate turning point because it then became "political."
I hope that answers your question.
All the best,
Joseph
Joe, What an incredibly GREAT answer to my question...I never did tell you the outcome with my 2 situations with Bill Hodgeman and his 2 investigators on 2 sepeate occassions. I'm going to hold off on that right now. The first time was an ambush and the second, wait until it comes out. They tried their dirty tricks on me. DIDN'T WORK...........Gil Garcetti, Joe, Wait until I get him on the witness stand. I know that some of these people you talk about are your friends, and you KNOW I am going to speak my mind. Anyway, Here's my next Question: I was told that you had GIVEN up on the OJ SIMPSON case and the BILL WASZ scenario, and you were totally DIGUSTED WITH THE WHOLE OUTCOME because of all the work you put into it. I thought to myself, No WAY is Joseph Bosco going to FORGET the OJ SIMPSON case. AM I RIGHT? Thanks Joe, Again , Thanks for the GREAT answer. Mario G. Nitrini 111

Hi Joe, I am going to try to post again.. For some reason my posts sometimes don't get through to you. Joe, what an incredibly GREAT answer. Hi Joe. Mario here. Joe, people are trying to post on this website and it is REALLY hard to get through. I posted a message with Richard to tell you. I hope you get this message. Again, thanks for your answers to my questions. I probably have 1000 more. Mario G. Nitrini 111
Joe: I'm curious to know why you turned Bill Pavelic dowh to write a tell-all about OJ. Seems to me that would be a pretty big seller and wouldn't Pavelic have some credibility, given his ex-LAPD background and experience as a defense investigator?
Best,
Jay
Jay,
I doubt that any such book would have been a bestseller, however, that never entered my thought process--which took all of about 3 seconds. If you do not understand why, either you know very little about Mr. Pavelic, or you know absolutely nothing about me.
Thanks for asking, though.
All the best,
Joseph
Hi Joseph:
All I know of you and Mr. Pavelic is what I've read, on your site and others. But I am very curious as to how a guy who was in LAPD and worked for Johnny Cochran et al can't be all that bad, no?
Best,
Jay

Mario Nitrini is a collaborator of Michael Aquino in character assassination of Alex Constantine. That's me. This is posted as a warning to anyone who deals with this scumbag. If he can't convince you that his picture of Rocky Bateman (and the entire fallacious story is "bait") or whatever is "proof" of something, he cyber-stalks you, and will pester a reporter to death. He's an obsessive personality with no grasp of a source's credibiliy. His smears against myself - after turning down his implorations to "work with me" - borrowed liberally from a violent psychotic who fed "information" about me to satanist Michael Aquino, and bruited around the Internet. Mario is a psycho and has no scruples about harassing his victims. I don't want it to happen to others, thus this caveat.
- Alex Constanting
Dear Alex,
Nice to hear from you; it's been awhile. As you may have noticed, I am one of Mario's favorite victims. He has left more clods of manure about me on websites worldwide than Carter has little pills. I ignore him now; while his stuff is vile and ugly, almost no one takes him seriously.
Take care, my friend,
Joseph
“…Bill Pavelic was especially proud of his street sense. He had been one of the few (LAPD) Caucasian cops; he liked to tell friends, who understood how things really worked in the black community. He got so deep into it that he saw things, he was certain, through nonwhite eyes. He discovered that African-Americans and dark-skinned immigrants of all backgrounds had a lot to fear from the LAPD. When the department couldn’t prove something, some cops had no problem framing people who couldn’t fight back. Pavelic complained loudly, and soon enough he was seen as disloyal. Before long, he was out…”
