That quote from Bush Sr. is really chilling. He wasn't my favorite president (by far), but he sure was prescient in this instance.

Thanks. I'm tempted to say great minds think alike but that is begging for commentary abuse. Poppy Shrub has many sins of commission and omission to account for in his public--and spook--career, but he knew how to read a geopolitical map as well as any world leader of the era.
