What Kind of a Leader Doesn't Take Responsibility on His Watch?

Is this the way of a Commander-in-Chief? Only if he's a Bush and a Coward which, to the great misfortune of the Republic in its time of greatest need, are one and the same. Shame on you Mr. Bush. Isn't being a liar bad enough, must you also be a spineless shirker of your number one responsibility?
The [Senate Intelligence C]ommittee's ranking Democrat, Sen. Jay Rockefeller of West Virginia, said: "Tragically, the intelligence failures set forth in this report will affect our national security for generations to come. Our credibility is diminished. Our standing in the world has never been lower. We have fostered a deep hatred of Americans in the Muslim world, and that will grow. As a direct consequence, our nation is more vulnerable today than ever before."

And that quotation sums up the saddest aspect of America's current political situation, although it doesn't fully explain the reasons why.

America's history and heritage has so much which could be of great value to the world, but the Democrats can't live up to that heritage and the Republicans deliberately abuse it. Sometimes I think we're all screwed.

I simply can not reconcile my experiences with American people with the way your government treats us non-Americans. And the current mis-administration seems determined to make things worse.

Just reading today the report charging the CIA with the fault of the war in Iraq. I guess sooner or later they had to put the blame somewhere, god forbid you could publically blame Bush, seeing that he had this planned before he even got into office if you believe what Mr. Clark wrote in his book(which I do). Just my two cents worth, thanx
